Dialog Mobile Broadband Customer Care SUCKS

Yesterday I found that my Dialog Mobile Broadband’s down speed has gone down to 50 KBps. Most probably I have reached the 5 GB limit. I want to check out how much I have downloaded so far, so I called the Dialog Mobile Broadband Technical support (which you can found on USB modem’s cover) and they have no idea how to find it. A guy over there told me that, I need to check it in My Dialog.
I went to My Dialog but still there is no such thing. Then he suggested me to call their customer care at 0777 678678. I called them and there was a lady answered and she doesn’t know what I’m speaking of. Gradually she hang up the phone to escape from me.
I didn’t quite I called the customer care again and someone else answered this time. That person asked me to check it out in the Modem Software. If you switch the machines then the modem software will not count the download that you made in the previous computer. I was keep on asking that person and that person was giving me several ideas to check out the limit, but we never be able to find it.
I’m just wondering there are anyone knows how to check how much I have downloaded?
I’m fed-up with Dialog customer care and Dialog keeps new people in their front end, who has no knowledge on products. What happened to the old customer care personals? Do they switch to Airtel?
Dialog unlimited mobile broadband – A Cheat
Finally I got my hands on Dialog Mobile Broadband. As many people complained the actual speed is much slower than the promised speed.
When I try to download I found that download speed goes up to 1.28 Kbps per second (160 KBps) but the promised speed is 7.2 Mbps down link. Even though I have full HSPDA coverage in our home.
I called Dialog Mobile Broadband hot line and they don’t have an answer for it. They want me to try in a different location and check.
As far as I hear from my friends M3 download speed also the same much slower than the promised speed.
I’m just curios to know, is there anyone who reached beyond 160 KBps downlink?
Don’t even think of downloading from rapid share while browsing in Dialog Mobile Broad band. As users are sharing same IP address, only one person online can download from Rapid Share. Meanwhile if others try to download they’ll get an error message saying “Currently you’re downloading a file. Please try again”. Others have to wait till the user finishes the download. It’s so annoying.
All I can say is, it’s a pure cheat. Since the downlink speed is low, will dialog change the fair user policy??? Never… They’ll never do it.
