Wats up with Twitter????

Recently I observe down-time in Twitter. Today I found that they are not offering update via IM. It’s a great disappointment for me because I almost every day update my status via IM.
Today went to their site and found that twitter buying more excuses in site. See the screen shots below. If Twitter continues to act like this I’m sure they’ll lose the market. I think it’s time for me to check for new alternatives.
A world renowned site should never act like this.
their databse structure, site architecture, ruby on rails doesn’t help the site to scale well. that’s the problem
