Utorrent & Auto shut-down
If you’re new to the world of torrent, it’s going to be a cool tip for you. Auto shut down feature is one of the most promising features. Usually when I leave home to office I leave a torrent to download. Say this download takes 3 hours to complete but it’ll take around 8 hours for me to come home back and switch off the computer, which means I’m wasting 5 hours of electricity for nothing.
As shown in the image go to Options -> Auto shutdown -> Shutdown when the downloads complete. Once your download is complete computer will automatically turn itself off. As a matter of fact you can’t switch off your router of DSL modem using utorrent, but by switching off your computer you can save loads of energy and your monthly electricity bill.
