Now Gmail in Tamil & Other Indian Languages
At last Google has given long awaited Tamil Interface for Gmail. Whole interface is now given in Tamil and some dominant Indian regional languages (اردو (Urdu) , मराठी (Marathi), हिन्दी (Hindi), বাংলা (Bangla), ગુજરાતી (Gujarati), ଓଡିଆ (Oriya), தமிழ் (Tamil), తెలుగు (Telugu), ಕನ್ನಡ (Kannada) and മലയാളം (Malayalam). I think this combination would cover nearly whole Indian population.
Translations are not that much good, for an instance some words they have thamingalized and used it. For example, for spam correct Tamil word is எரிதம் but they have used ஸ்பாம். Still a lot to improve in translations but my special thanks to Google for taking this initiation.
Now we have Orkut, Google Docs, Gmail in Tamil.
