ஹிந்திப் படங்களில், ஹாலிவூட் படங்களில் எல்லாம் இப்படி பீலா விடுவதில்லையே!

காலி புல்லா நன்றியுள்ளவர் போல், நல்லவர் போல் காட்டப்பட்டாலும், அடிப்படையில் மடயன் மாதிரி காட்டிவிட்டார்.

காலிபுல்லா பாத்திரமும், சீனாக்காரர் பாத்திரமும் அவசியமே இல்லாதவைகள்.

அமெரிக்காவில் விஞ்ஞானி என்றாலும், அங்கேயும் திருட்டுக் கும்மளாக இந்தியர்களே இருப்பதை இப்படம் தெளிவாக்கியுள்ளது. பணத்திற்காக எதையும் செய்பவன் இந்தியன் என்பதை இப்படம் காட்டியுள்ளது. தீவிரவாதியுடன் என்றாலும் கைக்கோர்த்துக்கொள்ளும் இந்திய அடிப்படைக் கொள்கையையும் காட்டுகிறது.

ஆனால் வெறுமனே இந்தியாவில் காண்போரையெல்லாம் தீவிரவாதி தீவிரவாதி எனும் பைத்தியக்காரத்தனத்தையும் இப்படம் வெளிப்படுத்துகிறது.

அது அமெரிக்க CIA என்றாலும் சரி, விஞ்ஞான கமல் என்றாலும் சரி, முஸ்லீம் கமல் என்றாலும் சரி, எல்லோரையும் நாயுடு தீவிரவாதி தீவிரவாதி என்று எந்த ஆய்வும் இன்றி மனம் போனபோக்கில் கூறும் இந்தியாவின் அடிப்பட்ட மடமையையும் இந்த படம் காட்டியுள்ளது.

எப்படியோ கமல் சில இடங்களில் சில வற்றை மறைமுகமாக சொல்லியுள்ளார்.

Songs r ok..but then again i think its more of Kamal’s ideas than Himesh’s tunes…(if i remember right Kamal said it indirectlly in an interview)

i dont no wut instrument he had used, 4 me it sounded like a kid Banging on a drum wid a stick…it was terrible…
They should have got A.R.Rahman…
How many of u remember da piece Rahman uses in “Rang de Basanthi”
where da British Soldiers start chasing Aamir Khan n company in Horses??

u forgot 2 mention abt how da movie starts…

the bird eye view of Tamil nadu..i think this is a “first time” in Tamil cinema they’ve shown it that way…I would say 90% of da English movies start that way wid a bird eye view of either Chicago, Washington or da Big Apple…(i watch atleast 4 English movies a week ) u can give one 4 K.S.R…

Next u say not a great story n most of da reviews on the net n da magazines like Vihadan confirms it..
but i have a question…How many of da James Bond movies have a great story line?? Or even Die Hard Series, Mission Impossible..
it is always da protagonist saving da world from a Huge danger or inf act a weapon of some kind…
so in that way i think u shouldnt expect a great story line in an action thriller like this…beside this story itself is a “first time” in tamil cinema…

I like da “George Bush” character most…to resemble da body language n expression of a world icon and even da inherent stupidity of da man in da dialogues…hats off 2 Kamal..
that performance is as good as any Hollywood actor u’ll see..
so its another “first time” in Tamil..

Yet another “first timer” is da climax action sequence which reminds a Jet Li action piece….

this first timer list goes on and on and at least for that leaving all da “obvious” reasons ill give;

“TWO THUMBS UP FOR THE MOVIE”!!!!!

For the first 10 days or so from the release of the film, almost all the theaters in Chennai are screening the film (may be as a security measure to recover the money invested). Amazingly all the shows are full.

People are piling up in the theater to see Kamals performance.
At last some recognition for kamals efforts

பத்து பாத்திரங்களைத்தவிர மற்றய பாத்திரங்கள் எதுவுமே எடுபடவில்லை. கமலின் நடிப்பு மற்றவர்களின் நடிப்பை புகையடிப்பு செய்துவிட்டது என்பதே உண்மை.
கதையின் சிறு பகுதையைக் கூட சொல்லாமல் விமர்சனம் எழுதுவது என்பது என்னால் முடியாது. யாராவது தெரிந்தால் சொல்லுங்கள்.
